MPD serves arrest warrant to 2 suspects in NBI detention

OPERATIVES from the Manila Police District (MPD) served an arrest warrant on two swindling (estafa) suspects who are in the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) detention cell.

Jachob Rasuman, 37, and Princess Aliah Tomawis, 35, both of Camague Highway, Iligan City, were said to be detained at the NBI in connection with a case they are facing that stemmed from a multi-million investment scam in 2013.

Police said the arrest warrant was issued by Judge Alberto Pantonial Quinto of the Regional Trial Court Judicial Region Branch 1 of Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte for a swindling case.

P/ Major Rommel Anicete and P/ Capt.Alfredo Tan, Jr. reported that the warrant was served at around 4 p.m. on June 18. No bail was recommended for the accused.
