MPD collars man wanted for rape
OPERATIVES from the Manila Police District (MPD)-Police Station 10 arrested a man tagged as the ‘Number 3 Most Wanted’ in Samar during an operation in Pasig City.
A team led by P/ Lt. Arniel Buraga nabbed suspect Marjone Pirante alias “Totoy”, 21, of Bolosao, Lawaan, Eastern Samar at the Pasig Mega Market along Caruncho Avenue in Pasig City.
It was learned that the PNP-PRO 8 of Eastern Samar coordinated with the MPD-Station 10 and the suspect was arrested pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by Judge Evelyn Rinos-Lesigues of the Regional Trial Court Branch 42 of Balinga, Eastern Samar, dated December 17, 2020 for a crime of rape.
No bail was recommended for the suspect’s provisional liberty. Pirante reportedly left Samar after being charged with rape and will be brought back to the said province.
