Sa kanyang Instagram post, Enero 17, sinabi niyang, “I don’t like it when I’m being judgmental of other people.I often say that judging others is not good and yet I find myself doing it every once in a while. So I decided to sit with these thoughts in meditation and really tried to figure out where the judgments are coming from.”

Dagdag pa ni Maxene, nakakaramdam daw siya ng “betterness” kapag napo-point out niya ang imperfection ng isang tao.

Aniya, “What I realized is that whenever I’m feeling insecure, inadequate or unworthy, I tend to look for faults in others. Why? Because pointing out their flaws makes me feel a little better about myself Damn. That was such a huge download for me.This is definitely not a healthy way of dealing with our insecurities. Imagine—you’re already feeling low and you unconsciously add more negative energy by judging others…”
