March 22 holiday in Cavite
GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite. – The Office of the President declared March 22, 2024 a special non-working holiday in the entire province of Cavite in celebration of the birth anniversary of General Emilio Aguinaldo, the first president of the Republic of the Philippines and the great son of the province.
Proclamation No. 492 was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin by authority of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on March 11, 2024.
The order of the Palace aims to give the people of the province full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration.
In Kawit town, The local government honors the 155th birth anniversary of the great son of the locality in a wreath-laying rites at the historic Aguinaldo Shrine in Bgy. Kaingen led by Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo, the great, great grandson of Aguinaldo, and other local leaders.
