Man nabbed for gun, ammo in Pililia raid
CAMP M/GEN. LICERIO I. GERONIMO, Taytay, Rizal – A man was nabbed in Pililia, Rizal after being caught with a gun and ammunition during the implementation of a search warrant inside his house in Sitio Lawitan, in Barangay Hulo, Thursday afternoon.
A report by Pililia Municipal Police Station (MPS) Chief Intel P/Capt. Ronald Jayson V. Dres to Rizal Police Director Col. Dominic L. Baccay, the Pililia town police served the search warrant papers to the suspect around 12:15 p.m. on February 23, at the said village.
The operation went well and the authorities confiscated from the suspect’s possession a Mustang Cal. .45 pistol, with the inserted magazine, and loaded with seven live ammunition.
The suspect has been apprised of his constitutional rights and was brought to the Ynares Municipal Hospital for a medical examination.
The said operation was recorded through the use of two alternative recording devices.
The suspect has been detained while charges are being prepared against him.
