P4M drugs, 4 suspects collared in Maguindanao, DavOr
THREE separate anti-narcotics operations in Mindanao on Sunday and Saturday resulted in the arrest of four drug suspects and the recovery of over P4 million worth of shabu and marijuana, Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) director Brigadier General Eliseo P. Matta said.
In a report to PNP chief General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, the official said two of the suspects, Monzur Talusan, 35, and his brother Wuji, 19, were arrested in Brgy. Poblacion in Dalican, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao around 5:00 p.m. Saturday.
Recovered from the two were an estimated 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million.
The two other suspects, Atiola Ajid, 27, and Raf-Raf Andaya, 18, were arrested in Brgy. Don Andres in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
Their arrest netted 50 grams of shabu valued at P340,000.
In Davao Oriental, PDEG-SOU 11 personne assaulted a clandestine marijuana plantation site in Sitio Tent City in Tarragona and uprooted an estimated P300,000 worth of fully-grown marijuana plants and seedlings.
No arrests were made during the operation however.
