Man kills live-in partner before shooting self in head
MAGALLANES, Cavite – A man on Wednesday shot his live-in partner dead before killing himself during a heated argument in their home in Bgy. Urdaneta, this town.
The victim was Roschelle Maranan, 31, while the suspect was her live-in partner Jherold Manalo, both of Bgy. Urdaneta.
The tragedy occurred at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
An investigation by the Magallanes police showed that prior to the incident, Jherold arrived home and for unknown reason confronted Roschelle.
At the middle of the argument, Jherold suddenly pulled out a gun and shot Roschelle.
Jherold then turned the gun to his head then pulled the trigger.
An investigation is underway.
