Man arrested for qualified rape in Batangas
A MOST wanted man charged with qualified rape was arrested by joint police forces during the serving of a warrant of arrest in Balayan, Batangas Thursday.
Balayan police identified the accused as Edgenesis Feratero y Alaras, single, meat processor and resident of Bgy. Matingain 2, Lemery, Batangas.
Feratero, 23, is listed as rank No. 10 most wanted at the regional level, according to the police report.
Around 10:20 a.m. on December 9, joint personnel of Balayan Municipal Police Station led by PMaj Alberto Heyres Nogoy Jr., RIU 4A PIT Batangas headed by PEMS Christopher Concepcion, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 4A 403rd Alpha MC, FS SOL 301st, SMG PAF and Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted the operation against the wanted person in Bgy. District 2, Balayan.
The implementing warrant was issued by Judge Yancy SN. San Juan of the Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 159 in Morong, Rizal dated August 18, 2021, with recommended bail of P200,000 for qualified rape, and another P200,000 for Special Protection of Children against Child Abuse, or Republic Act No. 7610.
Alternative recording device was used during the said operation. The accused was brought to the station for proper booking and documentation.
