CALOOCAN City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, together with the City Environmental Management Department (CEMD), led the community clean-up drive in line with his directives of a clean and orderly city.

CEMD Officer-in-charge Ryan Castillo said the department was instructed by Mayor Along to conduct community clean-up drives to ensure that all public areas, including roads and alleyways are clean.

The CEMD also conducted fogging and declogging activities in Barangay 172 and 177 in North Caloocan and Barangay 18 in South of the City to help prevent the spread of dengue-carrying mosquitoes.

Mayor Along commended the entire team for their efforts, and reminded them that this is only the start of their service to the people and the environment and likewise called on the citizens to maintain the cleanliness of each community.
