Lucas continues inspection of police stations in Calabarzon

POLICE Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) Director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas yesterday visited the Los Baños Municipal Police Station (MPS) as part of his series of field validation and inspection of different police stations in the region.

During his visit, Lucas reached out to the personnel of the Los Baños MPS as he addressed various matters and concerns pertaining to their respective duties and responsibilities.

The police regional director thanked them for their untiring service to the PNP and the communities of Los Baños.

“Ipagpatuloy ninyo ang inyong magandang nasimulan. Lagi ninyong isapuso ang paglilingkod ng mabuti sa ating komunidad,” he said.

Lucas also inspected the personnel’s issued firearms and other facilities and reminded them on the importance of the equipment as they perform their duties to serve and protect.

Earlier, Lucas toured Lucena, Tayabas, Lucban in Quezon province, and Luisiana, and Cavinti police stations in Laguna province. The initiative aims to evaluate the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the police stations while fostering community engagement and collaboration.

During the visit, Lucas interacted with the police officers, inspected facilities, especially their firearms, and discussed various aspects of policing and public safety.

The Calabarzon top cop commended the efforts of the officers in upholding the rule of law and addressing security concerns within their localities.

He stressed the importance of their dedication and vigilance in serving and protecting the public.

Lucas reiterated his marching orders to all officers, emphasizing the following key points on Crime Prevention, Community Engagement, Transparency and Accountability, Morale and Welfare of Personnel, Training and Development.

He encouraged the police officers to remain approachable and accessible to the public, underscoring the importance of community policing in ensuring peace and security.

The field visitation and inspection provided an opportunity for the Regional Director to understand the specific challenges and successes faced by each police station.

He assured the officers of his support and commitment to enhancing the capabilities and resources available to the region’s police force.

Lucas reaffirmed that the police’s vital role in society cannot be understated and that their collective efforts would continue to be instrumental in ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents within Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region.
