Lola, 66, killed by speeding trike
A 66-YEAR-OLD lola died after being hit by a speeding tricycle while she was walking along tBurgos and Bonifacio Streets in Bgy. VII-C , San Pablo City, Laguna.
San Pablo City police chief P/Lt. Col. Gary Alegre identified the victim as as Rosalina Gabriel Bitoin, store helper and resident of Amante Subd., Bgy. Del Remedio, San Pablo City.
Investigators said the traffic mishap occurred at about 8:30 a.m. while the victim was going to the store of her daughter. She was about to cross the intersection when she was hit by the speeding tricycle driven by Francis Allan Alcantara Blanes,41, also a resident of Bgy. Del Remedio, in this city.
Police said they will file reckless imprudence resulting in homicide charges against the suspect who is locked up at the San Pablo police station.
