CALL it the “Last Dance.” Orwinner- take-all. Or do or die.

It’s Game 7 time of the PBA Philippine Cup with defending champion TNT and former titlist San Miguel Beer battling for all the marbles at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Game time is 6 p.m. with the Tropang Giga looking for their ninth PBA title and join the defunct Toyota Tamaraws for sixth place in the all-time list of champions and the Beermen gunning for a record 28th championship.

The Beermen are also out to win their first Philippine Cup title since 2019.

The best-of-seven title series is tied at 3-3, with the Tropang Giga winning Games 1, 4 and 5 and the Beermen taking Games 2, 3, and 6.

San Miguel’s series-tying 114-96 victory by the Beermen last Friday — an 18-point rout — was the biggest winning margin of victory in the title series pitting the two best teams from San Miguel Corp. and the MVP Group of Companies.

This is in contrast to TNT’s tense 86-84 triumph in the series opener on Jayson Castro’s game-winner at the buzzer.

Castro, who missed the previous game due to an injury, is expected to be back, along with Mikey Wiliams, Kelly Williams, Troy Rosario, JP Erram, Kib Montalco, Ryan Reyes and Roger Pogoy.

The Beermen will lean anew on Best Player of the Conference winner June Mar Fajardo, CJ Perez, Marcio Lassiter, Mo Tautuaa, Simon Enciso, Vic Manuel, Chris Ross and Jericho Cruz.

Last Friday, the Beermen played one of their better games in the conference to roll back the Tropang Giga and extend the series to another game.

San Miguel coach Leo Austria said team effort made the difference.

“During pre-game interview, I said we will not concentrate on one player, especially on June Mar. I want everybody to get involved, especially mga shooters namin,” said Austria.

An the eight-time PBA champion coach, Austria hopes to Beermen can do the same in the deciding seventh game.

“Sabi ko sa kanila, we’ve been training for the last three months and this is it. Kailangang ilabas na ninyo A-game ninyo. This is the opportunity and we don’t know if makakabalik pa rito,” added Austria

The results:
