HALATANG may soft spot si Direk Joey Reyes para sa beauty queen-turned-actress na si Janelle Tee.
Sa digital mediacon ng Vivamax crime series na An/Na, kung saan gumaganap si Janelle bilang breadwinner na si Anna Clemente, inamin ni Direk Joey na may built-in preference siya para rito matapos silang magkasama sa Vivamax Original Movie na Secrets.
Ito nga raw ang nakikita niyang maaaring ituring na Ana Capri ng bagong henerasyon. “Thinking actress” ang description ng direktor kay Ana at gaya nito, matalinong babae rin daw si Janelle.
“Ana Capri was not only sexy but she is qualified as a good actress, a very good actress. And I think what made Ana very different from the rest of her generation was that she was a thinking actress. In other words, she was not going to take off her clothes and then think that that is a performance. For her, she was using her body to express a character.”
Naniniwala si Direk Joey na hindi magiging Miss Earth si Janelle kung bobita ito.
“So, nangangahulugan na she can do so much more than what is being ask from her now. And I really hope she will be given the opportunity to go beyond what she is doing now.”
