Garcia: Bataan ligtas, kaaya-ayang tirhan
BATAAN–Idineklara ni Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia na “safe at highly livable area” ang Bataan nang magpasa ng resolusyon at sinabing “Bataan (is) in a state of stable internal peace and security.”
Pinirmahan ni Garcia at mga miyembro ng Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) members at sinang ayunan ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), 7th Infantry Division (7 ID) at Police Regional Office 3 ang resolusyon.
Sinabi ni Governor Garcia na tumutugma ang declaration sa “strategic plan to transform into a highly livable area by 2030” ang Bataan.
Hinimok ng gobernador ang bawat isa na maging mapagmatyag upang mangibabaw ang peace and security sa lalawigan.
Sinabi ni 7 ID Commander Major General Andrew Costelo na ang declaration “is a testament to the unwavering commitment and sacrifice of men and women in uniform, as well as the collaborative efforts of the Philippine Army, Philippine National Police and local government units.”
Pinuri naman ni DILG Region 3 Assistant Regional Director Jay Timbreza ang declaration.
