E-bike rider collared for gun, ammo in Batangas

POLICE the other day arrested a man who was found with a gun strapped to his waist while riding an e-bike along the street in Bgy. Cubamba, Taal, Batangas.

Taal Municipal Police Station Chief Maj. Dante L. Majadas identified the suspect as Eduardo Casabuena Aala.

Upon police arrival, they saw Aala onboard the electric bike (e-bike) with a pistol-type handgun tucked in his waist.

Police, on full alert, immediately accosted and requested the suspect to produce the necessary documents of the handgun but failed to do so, which led to his arrest.

Police recovered from the suspect one cal. .45 pistol, one magazine, and six live ammo for the said caliber.

Meanwhile, joint personnel of Lipa City Police Station personnel and 1st-Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company (BPMFC) the other day conducted an operation around 9:40 a.m., served the warrant of the arrest order, and nabbed the most wanted person (MWP) for rape, identified as Romer Gonzales Esmillo who was hiding in Bgy. Mataas Na Lupa, Lipa City.

The warrant had no bail recommended, and the Acts of Lasciviousness were penned and issued by Presiding Judge. Noel M. Lindog of the Family Court, Branch 2, of Lipa City, Batangas.
