Cavite poll bets maximize last leg of campaign
NOVELETA, Cavite – Local bets of Noveleta, Cavite, held their last leg of their house-to-house campaign in Barangay San Rafael IV, a place of the local dried fish industry ten days before May 9, 2022, national and local elections.
Reelectionist Mayor Dino Chua of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) ticket, a solid supporter of presidential frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. (BBM) together with 1st District Congressional aspirant Ramon “Jolo” Revilla III and his “Unlad Noveleta” councilor ticket slate, are in the last part of the house-to-house campaign to complete their visitation of 16 villages.
Under the Chua and Revilla tandem are reelectionist Vice Mayor Arlyn Torres, reelectionist councilors Edwin Salud, Ronel Lanit, Emilito Lontoc, Kate Bernal, and newbies Renz Reyes, Axel Enriquez, Donn Alvarez, and Ricky Saria.
Chua vows to further develop the said locality under his administration and encourage more investors toward the prosperous Noveleta in his last and third term if re-elected as local chief executive of the said town.
He was known for reviving the vibrancy of the Long Beach Resort in Bgy. San Rafael IV and the building of Noveleta MedCare Hospital in Barangay San Jose amid the pandemic were challenged by former Mayor Enrico “Boy” Alvarez of NUP and seven councilor bets.
