A 23-year-old woman from Navotas City dubbed by police as “drug queen” yielded more than P13 million worth of shabu in a drug sting operation Friday evening in Malabon City.

Malabon police chief P/Col. Albert Barot said the arrest of Hersie Ogoy, resident of Fatima St., Tulay 14, Bgy. Daanghari, Navotas City, stemmed from the information they gathered from Alejandro Blancaflor, 46, of Pag-Asa St., Bgy. Muzon, who was earlier arrested.

Blancaflor was nabbed at around 6:20 p.m. Friday along Don Basilio Blvd., Bgy. Dampalit, along with two others, when they conspired in selling shabu to a police poseur-buyer in a buy-bust operation.

During custodial debriefing, Blancaflor revealed to P/Lt. Alexander Dela Cruz, chief of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), that drug queen Hersie Ogoy was the source of illegal drugs they sold to a police poseur-buyer, along with the 19 grams of shabu seized from their possession, which prompted the police to conduct another buy-bust operation.

At around 11 p.m., P/Cpl. Paulo Laurenz Rivera, who acted as poseur-buyer, with P/Cpl Ferdinand Danzal as back-up, were able to purchase P50,000 worth of shabu from Ogoy along Dalagang Bukid St., Bgy. Longos that resulted in her arrest.

Operatives of SDEU seized from Ogoy’s possession two large Chinese tea bags of shabu weighing 2 kilos and 50 grams placed in a red eco bag with standard drug price of P13,940,000, two cellular phones and marked money consisting of five P1,000 bill and 45 pieces of boodle money.

Barot said the suspect was presented for inquest proceedings before the Malabon City Prosecutor’s Office on charges for selling and possession of illegal drugs under Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
