Crispin Remulla proclaimed new congressman of 7th District of Cavite

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite — Cavite Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Mico Morales-Castro proclaimed on Sunday morning, February, 26, 2023, incumbent Cavite 7th District Board Member Crispin Diego ‘Pinggoy’ Remulla as the congressms-elect of the 7th District of Cavite following the special polls held Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Remulla garnered 98,474 votes while closest rival Former Trece Martires City Mayor Melencio Loyola De Sagun Jr. has 46,530 votes, followed by Lito Aguinaldo with 1,610 votes, and Mike Santos with 1,068 votes.

The younger Remulla will fill the province’s 7th District congressional seat vacated by his father, now Secretary of Justice (SoJ) Jesus Crispin ‘Boying’ Remulla.

Atty. Morales-Castro said around 43.6 percent of registered voters cast their votes in three municipalities and one city belonging to the Legislative District.
