CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Over P1.5 million worth of shabu was seized from the arrested couple on Saturday in Subic, Zambales.

In his report to the Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 Director Police Brigadier Gen. Cesar Pasiwen, Zambales Police Chief Col. Fitz Macariola said operatives of the Subic and Zambales Police along with PDEU Zambales PPO, 1st and 2nd PMFC conducted a buy-bust in Sitio Bukid, Barangay Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales.

The drug sting resulted in the arrest of the suspects, both residents of the said barangay, and the confiscation of 14 plastic sachets of shabu weighing more or less 227.2 grams valued at P1,544,960, drug paraphernalia, a green sling bag, and the marked money.

Macariola said one of the suspects is a “high-value target” (HVT) and an alleged member of the “Naldi Drug Group.”

“We are committed to [suppressing] the proliferation of illegal drugs as we support the DILG’s ‘Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan’ (BIDA) program while we continue to run after those who are involved in the illegal drug trade to deter criminality and lawlessness,” Pasiwen said.
