Chinese fugitive collared in Clark
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A Chinese national wanted for homicide was arrested on Wednesday at the Clark Freeport Zone in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
PRO3 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon said Zhihui Yan was arrested in Parkview Villages, Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat City by members of the Angeles City police based on a warrant issued by the Angeles City RTC Branch 116 for homicide.
Yan, a former resident of Sunset Valley Mansion, Barangay Cutcut in Angeles City, was the primary suspect in the killing of his compatriot Jin Hua Wu last April 13, 2020 in Angeles City.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Angeles City police station 2.
“May this send a strong message to all those who continue to evade the law. Regardless of who you are, Central Luzon is not a sanctuary for fugitives and lawless elements,” De Leon said.
