CHEAA National Convention and Online Election 2021
UPLB College of Human Ecology Alumni Association (CHEAA) will hold its first Virtual Convention and Online Election, with the Theme “CHEAA 2021: Patuloy na Pagtutulungan at Bayanihan Para sa Ekolohiya at Bayan.”
The CHEAA will convene its first Virtual National Convention and Online Election, with the theme “Patuloy na Pagtutulungan at Bayanihan Para sa Ekolohiya at Bayan,” on April 9 via Zoom.
Organized for the Philippines’ only human ecology college alumni, the 2021 Virtual Convention will highlight service, leadership and camaraderie. It will engage alumni in understanding the CHEAA’s purpose, the College of Human Ecology role, and how the “two” can work together to support the university and the college.
The online networking sessions are designed to foster collaboration and camaraderie among alumni and the college. Hopefully, the attendees will formulate viable, practical activities and meaningful projects for CHE and CHEAA to work together.
Alumni who have excelled in their chosen field would be recognized for their service during the convention. Likewise, the amended by-laws of the Association will be discussed and ratified, and members present will elect the board of trustees.
UPLB Chancellor Jose V. Camacho Jr., who envisions a “future-proof UPLB”, will be the guest speaker. He said, “future-proofing UPLB is about sustaining UPLB’s relevance by developing methods, approaches and framework to minimize the cost and impacts of shocks of future events. “

CHEAA aims at being the conduit between and among the CHE alumni and partner networks.
