Bulacan police nets 45 law offenders

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – In just two days and due to prompt police response, Bulacan cops arrested 45 individuals with different violations in Bulacan over the weekend.

PRO3 (Police Regional Office 3) Director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said on May 14, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Bocaue, Meycauayan, Norzagaray, Obando, and Pandi arrested 12 persons in a series of anti-illegal drug operations.

Seized were 34 plastic sachets of shabu, cigarette pack, motorcycle, and buy-bust money.

Suspect Rogel Basaliso, of Pinambaran, San Miguel, was arrested at a checkpoint by elements of San Miguel MPS for possession of shabu, while operatives of the Paombong Police arrested four men for illegal “tupada” or cockfighting.

Suspect Gilbert Gomez was nabbed by responding policemen of SJDM police for stabbing a co-worker during a heated argument.

Four persons wanted by law were arrested in different manhunt operations by the tracker teams of Malolos, Pulilan, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, and joint personnel of SJDM CPS, 301st MC RMFB3, HPT Bulacan, and 3rd SOU Maritime Group.

They were Joycedee Esguerra, of Dampol 2nd, Pulilan, arrested for estafa; Rose Marie Camacho, of Inaon, Pulilan, for theft; Mercy Jumawan, of Muzon, CSJD, for grave slander; and Roldan Edwin Meneses, of Sumapang Matanda, Malolos City, for concubinage.

Last May 15, joint elements of Norzagaray Police in Tigbe, Norzagaray, led to the arrest of a murder suspect identified as Mary Jane Sharlyn Bravo, 23, who stabbed her drinking buddy.

San Miguel Police arrested three suspects for attempted homicide, physical injury, and violation of RA 7610.

Baliwag and Plaridel cops apprehended Reden Abiog, 22, and Alex Dela Cruz, 35, for rape.

Tracker teams of Pandi and San Ildefonso Police nabbed Henry Acibar, 37, of Bagong Barrio, Pandi, for slight physical injuries; and Robert Guevarra, 30, of Alagao, San Ildefonso, for unjust vexation.

The anti-illegal gambling operations by the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), Sta. Maria, and San Ildefonso Police led to the arrest of 15 individuals for illegal cockfighting and “cara y cruz”. By Bernard Galang
