Brothers believed members of communist terror group fall

QUEZON City Police District (QCPD) Director, PBGEN Nicolas D Torre III announced the arrest of brothers who are alleged members of a communist terror group (CTG) by virtue of a warrant of arrest Friday in Pasay City.

PLTCol. Melgar Devaras, District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) chief, identified the arrested suspects as Kent John Magdadaro alias “KA Noy”, 24, and Arnel Magdadaro alias “Ka Manoy”, 43, both stay-in at the Barracks of MSC QUANTUM Residence Project located on 2040 Taft Ave., Brgy. 49, Pasay City.

A report shows that suspects were arrested by joint operatives of the QCPD, Regional Intelligence Division NCRPO, RIU-NCR, Cataingan Municipal Police Station, Masbate 2nd PMFC, PIU Masabate Police Provincial Office at about 12:10 p.m. of September 1, 2022 at the compound of MSC QUANTUM Residence Project located on Taft Ave., Brgy. 49, Pasay City for

Kent John has pending warrants of arrest for four counts of murder and one attempted murder while Arnel has warrants of arrest for three counts of murde and one attempted murder.

Investigation further revealed that both accused are members of a communist terror group under the command of Ka Rogelio Suson alias “Manong”, and are listed as the No. 1 and 2 Most Wanted Persons of QCPD (3rd Quarter).

PBGEN Jonnel C Estomo, Acting Regional Director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) commended the QCPD for their diligence which resulted in the apprehension of the suspects. “We will continue to track down and conduct surveillance operations to arrest these wanted criminals who are on the run. We will not rest until we put the last wanted person behind bars and make them answer for the atrocities they committed,” he added.
