Boy, 14, stabbed to death in QC
A 14-YEAR-OLD boy who was walking on his way home after attending his classes was reportedly ganged up and stabbed dead by six young boys aged 14 to 16 years old on Thursday night in Quezon City.
The victim, a 14-year-old Grade 6 elementary student, succumbed while being treated at the De Los Santos Medical Center due to a stab wound in the body.
A report from the Galas Police Station showed that the victim, along with his friends, was walking on his way home at about 6:20 p.m. along E. Rodriguez Sr., Boulevard, Bgy. Doña Imelda, Quezon City.
However, upon reaching a supermarket, a group of young boys suddenly arrived and ganged up the victim.
“May humawak pa sa biktima para hindi makatakas habang sinasaksak,” a witness told the police.
Bystanders rushed the victim to the said hospital but later died.
Six minors implicated in the crime were arrested by the police after a follow-up operation.
Police said they will turn the minor suspects to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) after the QC Prosecutor’s Office inquest proceedings.
