Bettor wins P67M lotto pot
A LONE bettor won the P67 million Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot in Thursday draw.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) yesterday said the lucky bettor who purchased the winning ticket combination 23-03-02-43-30-07 with a jackpot of P67,672,225 in
Lallo, Cagayan.
The PCSO said the winner can claim the check at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City and must present the winning ticket plus two identification cards.
Meanwhile , some 29 bettors guessed five winning combinations and won P50,000 each while at least 1,910 bettors won P1,200 each for getting four of the winning combinations and 32,830 others
won P50 each for guessing three right combinations.
Under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent tax.
The 6/49 Super Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
The PCSO urged the public to patronize its games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
