PARTIDO Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. emerged as the number one Presidential candidate in the upcoming 2022 elections based on results of the 3rd Quarter survey released by PUBLiCUS Asia Inc. on Friday.

Marcos, who offers a unifying brand of governance once elected, was chosen by 49.3% of the respondents followed by Leni Robredo with 21.3%, Isko Moreno with 8.8%, Ping Lacson with 2.9%, and Manny Pacquiao with 2.8%.

Marcos was way ahead of the other Presidential hopefuls as more voters showed an overwhelming preference for him in key voting areas. In NCR, Marcos cornered more than 40% of the votes. While in North and Central Luzon, he got a whopping 55.7%.

In South Luzon, he obtained 38.2%, while in the Visayas, he registered 44.7%. Topping this monstrous performance with a 62.5% voter preference in Mindanao.

The Pahayag survey is the latest Presidential preference survey released after Davao Mayor Sara Duterte declared she will not be running for President in the 2022 polls and instead run for re-election.

Marcos’s performance in the Pahayag survey confirmed the growing grassroots support for his candidacy. Also, informal surveys such as the Kalye surveys conducted by independent Youtube vloggers in various parts of the country consistently showed him as the top choice of the people.
