Bataan anti-crime ops net 56 law offenders
SOME 56 law violators were apprehended by the Bataan police in a weeklong anti-crime drive (SACLEO).
Bataan police acting director Col. Romell Velasco said 22 were nabbed in separate buy-busts in Balanga, Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Mariveles, Morong, Orion
and Pilar.
Three most wanted persons were arrested in Hermosa, Limay and Pilar while 22 other wanted felons were apprehended in Abucay, Balanga, Bagac, Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Limay, Mariveles, Orani, Orion, Pilar and Samal.
Meanwhile, nine were jailed for anti-gambling violation and seized at least P9,379 bet money.
One loose gun was confiscated in Morong and six other firearms were turned-in through Oplan Katok in Dinalupihan, Limay and Orani.
Velasco commended his men for the successful operations.
