Davao HVT drug ‘peddler’ nabbed, yields P640K shabu
CAMP SGT QUINTIN M MERECIDO, Buhangin, Davao City – The no. 4 “high-value target” (HVT) drug suspect in Region 11 was arrested in a buy-bust on Tuesday in Davao City.
PRO11 (Police Regional Office 11) Director Brig. Gen. Benjamin Silo Jr. said members of the RSOG-RPDEU XI together with PS13, DCPO, TSC, and 1105th, RMFB 11 arrested Ibrahim Payag Adil in an entrapment op at Marquella complex, Bgy. Tigatto, Davao City.
Recovered from the suspect were eight plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated weight of at least 40 grams valued at P640,000, and the P38,000 buy-bust money.
Silo commended his men for the successful drug operation.
“I challenge all unit commanders to clear their respective affected areas from illegal drugs before the end of the term of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte,” Silo said.
