Kawit requires on-site workers to get jabs
KAWIT, Cavite – The local government here under re-electionist Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo approved Executive Order No. 037-2021 requiring all establishments and employers in the public and private business sector to require their eligible employees who are tasked to do on-site work to be vaccinated against the COVID-19.
The order also states that public and private establishments within the town’s jurisdiction may validly refuse entry and/or deny service to individuals who remain to be unvaccinated.
On the other hand, eligible employees who remain unvaccinated may not be terminated, but will be required to undergo RT-PCR tests regularly at their own expense for purposes of on-site work.
Inoculation for adolescents and the rest of the pediatric population and booster shot for health workers are also ongoing at the vaccination site in Robertson Plaza, Centennial Road, Kawit, Cavite.
