A lone bettor from Oriental Mindoro bagged the over P378 million jackpot of Ultra Lotto 6/58 during Friday night’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.
PCSO General Manager Royina Marzan-Garma said the winning combination of Ultra Lotto was 20-17-12-29-10-46.
According to her, the lucky bettor purchased the ticket from an outlet located in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro.
The total P378,750,791.20 jackpot, the agency said, will be subjected to 20 percent tax in accordance with the TRAIN Law. This means that P75,750,158.24 would be deducted from the winnings.
The selling agent will also get 1 percent prize commission of the jackpot prize, but not to exceed P1 million.
Meantime, the agency said there were 71 consolation prize winners, who fell a digit short from getting the whopping jackpot.
Each of them, per PCSO, will get P120,000 each, which will also be subjected to 20 percent tax.
To claim their prizes, they must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present two IDs so they could get their checks. The agency said they should bring their tickets with them.
Garma urged the public to continue patronizing the products of the agency, saying people in dire need of help will surely benefit from the agency’s charity programs.
