Man shot to death during drinking spree
A MAN was peppered with bullets and died on the spot while drinking liquor with friends in Batangas City. Killed was Ariel Roxas.
Roxas, a friend and his live-in partner were having a drink around 11 a.m. when the unidentified suspect appeared and shot the victim repeatedly.
The suspect fled on board a motorcycle driven by a cohort after the shooting.
Police investigation is ongoing.
Meanwhile, Lipa City Poice Station personnel said a man identified as Gio Sangalang drowned while swimming Monday in Purok 3, Bgy. Malagunlong, Batangas.
Investigators said Rodelas was swimming with his friend when he disappeared in the water.
The victim’s friend said while swimming he suddenly disappeared at the water surface.
The Lipa City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (LCDRRMO) searched for the victim.
The victim’s body was found at 1:50 a.m. on June 13, the next day.
