AUTHORITIES seized more than P100,000 worth of shabu from eight drug personalities in separate anti-illlegal drug operations, Wednesday evening in Parañaque and Las Piñas cities.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg said elements of Las Piñas Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) arrested Noel Magpili Sr. alias “Baboy”, 42; Kako Mohamad, 39, and Christian Cruz, 27, all residents of Las Piñas City in a buy-bust operation conducted at around 6:20 p.m. along Pulo Village, Bgy. Talon 4.

Police recovered from the suspects were nine plastic sachets containing 13.2 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of P89,760, and P300 marked money used in the buy-bust operation.

At around 9:00 p.m., Paranaque Police SDEU and operatives of Police Sub-Station 5 conducted a drug sting operation at Marigol St. Sun Valley Subdivision, Bgy. Sun Valley resulting in the arrest of Mark Ronald Lorenzo, 33; Jen Canja, 39; Franco Floyd Perigrino, 37; Victor Sison, 58, and Fretch Dela Peña, 35, who were all residents of Parañaque City.

Police seized from the suspects more or less three grams of shabu placed in seven plastic sachets valued at P20,400 and the P1,000 marked money.

“The accomplishment of SPD will speak for itself, Ang matatagumpay na operasyon na ito kontra iligal na droga ay bunga ng walang sawang pagtratrabaho ng ating kapulisan na nasa baba, sila ay kaisa natin sa ating adhikain na mapanatili ang katahimikan sa ating nasasakupan, kaya naman tuloy-tuloy ang operasyon lalo na ng ating mga operatiba sa mga taong ito na patuloy sa kalakalan ng ipinagbabawal na gamut. Ang SPD naman ay patuloy ang pagbibigay ng suporta at mga pagkilala sa kanilang matatagumpay na operasyon na inilulunsad kontra iligal na droga,” Macaraeg said.
