FOUR suspected drug personalities, including two women, were arrested in separate drug sting operation that led to the seizure of more than P.7million worth of shabu in Caloocan and Navotas Cities.

Caloocan police chief P/Col. Samuel Mina said Manuela Martizano, 18, alias “Elay” of Block 3 Lot 5, Phase 9 Package 1, Brgy. 176 Bagong Silang and her neighbor Josephine Bucat, 43 were arrested at around 1 a.m. Tuesday by joint elements of Caloocan Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Regional Mobile Force Battalion-National Capital Region Police Office (RMFB-NCRPO) during a buy-bust operation.

The suspects, after a week-long surveillance and monitoring operation, conspired in selling shabu worth P60,000.00 to P/Cpl. Christopher Delara who acted as poseur-buyer.

Operatives seized a total of 100 grams of shabu including the subject of buy-bust from Martizano with standard drug price worth P680,000.00, while the marked money consisting of one P1,000 genuine peso bill and 59 pieces of boodle money were seized from Bucat.

Earlier at around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, elements of Navotas Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit led by P/Lt. Luis Rufo and under the supervision of city police chief P/Col. Dexter Ollaging conducted a drug sting operation along Baron St. Brgy. NBBN that led to the arrest of Jhonpaul Reloso, 26 and Kim Jasper Hibaya, 25, both residents of 379 Baron Street.

The two were nabbed when they handed a plastic sachet of shabu to P/Cpl. Alexander Delos Reyes who acted as poseur-buyer in exchange for P500 marked money.

Seized from the suspects were five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu weighing more or less 8.05 grams with standard drug price worth P54,740.00 and P500 buy-bust money.

Northern Police District (NPD) Director P/BGen. Jose Hidalgo, Jr. lauded Col. Mina and Col. Ollaging for the arrest of the four drug suspects and seizure of P743,740.00 worth of shabu.
