JOINT operatives of the Batasan Police Station (PS 6) and District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) arrested three senior citizens and another suspect who yielded P357, 612 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City.
The suspects were identified as Armando Enriquez, 60, a resident of Baesa Road, Brgy. Baesa, Quezon City; Larry Maesa, 63, a resident of Apitong St., San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan; Valiant Rallos, 62, a resident of Pelaez St., Project 4, Quezon City; and Agnes Omorog, 46, a resident of Kaunlaran St., Brgy. Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City.
A report showed that PS 6 operatives received information regarding the alleged illegal drug activities of the suspects.
A buy-bust was set by joint operatives of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of PS 6 led by PLT Apolinario Aguinaldo and DDEU led by PLT Elmerson Maceda, at about 5:45 p.m. on September 26, 2021, on 24-B Baesa Road, Brgy. Baesa, Quezon City.
A police acted as a poseur buyer and bought P500 worth of shabu.
The suspects were immediately arrested and confiscated from their possession and control were more or less 52.59 grams of shabu worth P357,612, a digital weighing scale, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will be charged with violation of Section 11 of Article II of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
