Caloocan entertains walk-in vaccine applicants

THE Caloocan City Government continues to entertain walk-in vaccine applicants, especially departing Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), in all their vaccination sites in North and South of the city.

Mayor Osca “Oca” Malapitan said OFWs have the right to choose the vaccine brand required by their country of destination, including western-made COVID-19 vaccines, in order to secure their employment.

Walk-in OFW applicants should bring their valid ID and seaman’s book or certificate from Overseas Worker’s Welfare Administration (OWWA) or call sheet from their respective agencies which will prove their deployment abroad.

Meanwhile, Mayor Oca continue to encourage every citizen to get vaccinated, not only to protect themselves but also to others, especially family members.

He advised 18-years and above to go to the nearest vaccination hubs in their area, even without appointment, since every vaccination sites have station registration area that will entertain walk-in applicants.

“Para po sa mga hindi nakarating sa kanilang Sinovac second dose, magtungo lamang po kayo sa mga bukas na vaccination site upang mabakunahan at para naman po sa mga iba pa na hindi nakapunta ng kanilang schedule ng second dose, maaari po kayong magtungo sa alinmang bukas na vaccination site na may kaparehang brand ng inyong first dose,” Mayor Oca notified.
