3 drug pushers yield over P5M MJ in Pampanga bus terminal
Mabalacat City, Pampanga – Three suspected drug peddlers were arrested on Friday and more than P5 million worth of marijuana were confiscated by the authorities in Pampanga.
Pampanga police director Col. Arnold Thomas Ibay said members of the Mabalacat police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 3 went to the holding area of Victory Liner in Bgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga after they were informed about the discovery of alleged marijuana from the three suspects identified as Lianna Jess Maigne dela Cruz, 18, and Jerthec Cris Lusung, 19, both of No. 8 Ferreras Compound, Prince Balagtas St., Sta. Teresita, Angeles City, and Filmar Lipaso, 44, tricycle driver, resident of 2262 Adrian St., Ext 2 Mountain View, Balibago, Angeles City.
Police seized from the three suspects two sacks containing 44 bricks of dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops sealed with transparent plastic mixed in the banana fruit weighing at least 44 kilograms valued at P5,280,000.
Ibay said the suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
