3 Chinese nat’ls nabbed for threat on businessman

THREE Chinese nationals who were arrested for threatening a businessman with a gun yielded more than P43,000 worth of shabu Monday morning in Paranaque City.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the arrested Chinese as Haigen Cui, 37, Nan Liu, 30 and Pan Fuxiao, 27, all residing at Shore Residences located at Seaside Blvd. MOA Complex, Pasay City.

Investigation showed that earlier at around 4 a.m., Antonio Cuyugan, III, 26, businessman was driving a Hyundai Accent with a 17-year-old minor on board at the Uvis Alpha, Okada Manila, Seaside Drive, Brgy. Tambo, Paranaque City when one of the three Chinese looking men on board a white Honda Civic (NAJ- 9766) poked a gun at him.

The victim sought the help of policemen from Tambo Police Station and through the assistance of Okada Manila security personnel, they were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle at Central Basement Orange Post of the hotel and resort parking and apprehended the three Chinese nationals.

Cuyugan positively identified Nan Liu as the one who poked a gun at him and during the search, lawmen recovered from the suspects a caliber .9mm pistol with two magazines, a zip lock plastic sachet containing shabu weighing 4.9 grams with standard drug price of P33,320.00 and a P50.00 folded bill with 1.5 grams of shabu worth P10,200 and a small pink case with different kinds of drug paraphernalia.

Policemen also seized the suspect’s vehicle and was brought to the impounding area of Paranaque police to be used as evidence.
