2 rebels surrender in Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Two former members of the New People’s Army in Nueva Ecija on Monday surrendered to the authorities.

Nueva Ecija police acting director Col. Rhoderick Campo identified the returnees as “Ka Boy” and “Ka Kuba,” both members of the Militiang Bayan under KLG Sierra Madre.

Joint elements of the 1st PMFC-NEPPO, together with 22SAC 2nd SAB SAF, PIU -NEPPO, 2nd PMFC-NEPPO, Gabaldon, Palayan and the Gapan police, processed the documentation of the two surrenderers.

Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay vowed to continue the efforts of the Central Luzon police and the RTF-ELCAC for the surrender of more members of the communist terror and the CPP-NPA terrorist groups.
