IT’S quite obvious Glaiza de Castro is glowing these days.
Aside from the fact that she gets to perform on All Out Sundays, she has a new TV series which will be aired on GMA7’s Afternoon slot.
It’s called False Positive, which teams her up for the first time with Xian Lim. It’s a funny social commentary, asking what if the husband gets pregnant?
Xian calls Glaiza Asia’s Acting Gem, and he says he’s intimidated the first time they met on the set, knowing how professional Glaiza is. But Glaiza counters, she was the one who got intimidated by Xian.
Well, it looks like they have a mutual admiration, and now, the two can joke around with each other.
“Bata pa lang ako pinapanood ko na si Glaiza,” Xian jokes during the zoomcon for the series. But Glaiza has the ready ‘counter attack’ saying: “Baligtad ‘ata. Ako yung bata pa, pinapanood ko na si Xian sa pelikula. At pumipila pa kami.”
Aside from good co-workers around, Glaiza looks romantically happy these days as her husband, Irish David Rainey is now in the country. After their wedding in David’s hometown, the goodlooking husband had to stay behind due to COVID restrictions in the country and elsewhere. Now that everything has loosen a bit, David hurriedly flew to the country to be with Glaiza.
So is Glaiza delving on a baby project with David, since her best friend Angelica Panganiban is now on her way to motherhood? “Naku, hindi pa po,” Glaiza says. “Baka it would take a while pa.
We’re just enjoying life together now.”
Glaiza admits that pregnancy is still a scary situation for her. “Sabi nga ng nanay ko, dalawang araw daw siyang nag-labor sa kapatid ko,” she relates. “Eh ako nga, may monthly period lang, hindi ko na alam ang gagawin sa buhay ko?”
But of course, she is looking forward to it once everything is settled with her personal and business plans with David. Glaiza is looking at a bigger bed and breakfast business in Baler in the future along with David’s plan to put up a cafe there.
Well, good luck and keep glowing.

Hershie has showed some skin in her first try, and would not back out from any challenge. “Ang paghuhubad naman, parang jumpstart lang sa pag-aartista. In the future, gusto ko rin naman po makagawa ng mga wholesome movies.”
