AFTER winning the May 9 national and local elections, Valenzuela City 1st District Congressman-elect Rex Gachalian and his brother Mayor-elect Wes Gatchalian opens the city’s 24th “Sentro ng Sama-samang Serbisyo” or 3S Center.
Dubbed as “Sentro ng Sama-samang Serbisyo”, the 3S Center in Tagalag is within reach by the residents of the Barangay Tagalag as it officially opens and inaugurates on Friday, May 20, 2022.
The 24th Sentro ng Sama-samang Serbisyo is a two-storey building with facilities consisting of the Barangay Hall, Health Station, Daycare Center, ALS (Alternative Learning System) Center, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Office, and a Multi-Purpose Hall.
House Deputy Speaker Wes Gatchalian in his message said, “Ito nalang po ang challenge, dapat kung ano ang kagandahan ng ating mga gusaling itinayo, gayundin ang kagandahan sa serbisyong ibibigay natin sa taong-bayan. Dapat efficient, dapat maayos.”
While Mayor Rex emphasized, “Ang layunin ng 3S Centers natin, ilapit sa inyo ang serbisyo. Bukod sa ilapit, gusto natin One-Stop Shop, ‘yung tipong pagpunta niyo, andiyan na ‘yung health center, daycare, andiyan na lahat ng kailangan niyo.”
The first 3S Center was inaugurated in 2014 in Barangay Poblacion. These are integrated government facilities that aim to promote governance that is open to people and for the city’s services be an arm stretch away through facilities closer to the communities.
Mayor Rex led the inauguration joined by Vice Mayor Lorie Natividad-Borja, Deputy Speaker Wes Gatchalian, Councilor Ricar Enriquez, Liga ng mga Barangay President Councilor Jon Jon Bartolome, SK Federation President Councilor Goyong Serrano, Tagalag Punong Barangay Obet Geronimo and Council, and SK Chairman Arcee Dayego and Council.
