Student, 14, found hanging lifeless after ‘being scolded’
A 14-YEAR-OLD Grade-7 student was found hanging lifeless inside the comfort room of their house in Navotas City.
The lifeless victim was discovered by his sister hanging, with a shoelace looped around his neck, in the comfort room of their residence at around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
A report that reached the office of Navotas Police Chief P/Col. Dexter Ollaging showed that a relative of the victim, who noticed the commotion, sought the help of their neighbor in rushing the Grade 7 student to the Navotas City Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival by his attending physician.
During investigation, police found a message from the victim’s mobile phone that read “Pa, paalam, di ko na kaya sobrang sakit na eh, siguro mauuna na muna ko, ayaw ko na masermonan ang sakit na eh, sorry sa nagawa ko kanina”.
Police probers did not find any sign of foul play.
