SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga — The Regional Development Council is ensuring that there are enough funds for various development projects in Central Luzon.

Bataan governor Joet S. Garcia together with Mayors’ League president Mayor Tonypep Raymundo of Orion, Bataan and other Central Luzon governors on Sunday attended the First Quarter Full Council Meeting for 2023 of the 17th Regional Development Council (RDC) to discuss the state of developmental programs and projects in the region.

“As the Chair of the Sectoral Committee on Economic Development (SCED), we made sure that there is enough funds allocated to some agencies of our government that are focused on the development of our economy. In this method, their services that can help improve their livelihood will reach our countrymen,” Garcia said in a statement right after the RDC meeting.

Garcia added some of the projects discussed in the meeting were “the Central Regional Development Plan 2023-2028, endorsement of resolutions, and steps of various members of the RDC towards the continuous development of the whole region including our Province.”
