Speaker Romualdez to work doubly hard
“DODOBLEHIN pa natin ang pagtrabaho sa pamamagitan ng paggawa ng mga batas na makakabuti sa pamumuhay ng bawat Pilipino lalo na ang mga mahihirap”.
Thus said House Speaker Ferdinand Romualdez after his satisfaction rating jumped by 15 points, and is now at 59 percent, while his trust rating jumped by 17 percent, and is now at 55 percent, based on OCTA Research group’s latest Tugon ng Masa survey conducted last March.
“Marami pang batas ang dapat naming gawin sa Kongreso para guminhawa ang buhay ng mga Pinoy tulad ng sa trabaho, income, healthcare, edukasyon, pabahay, presyo ng bilihin, at iba pa”, Speaker Romualdez said.
“Maraming-maraming salamat sa inyong suporta. Pangako ko po na hindi ko po kayo bibiguin sa inyong tiwala. Lalo ko pa pa-iigtingin ang aking paglilingkod,” added Speaker Romualdez.
The House leader also thanked his colleagues for passing bills that the country desperately needs, especially the national budget.
“I can’t do it alone. Malaking tulong po ng aking mga kasamahan sa kamara para mapabilis namin ang pagpapasa ng mga batas. To you my colleagues, thank you very much,” he added.
Speaker Romualdez stressed that the people expect him to help the projects and programs of President Marcos so that the country can finally recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
