Small oil price rollback today
OIL companies are set to implement a meager oil price rollback today.
Oil giant Chevron Philippines and independent oil firm Clean Fuel announced they will cut prices of their gasoline products by P P0.50 per liter and diesel by P0. 25 effective at 12:01 a.m.
Two other major oil firms, Petron Corporation and Pilipinas Shell, along with small oil players Flyng V and Seaoil Philippines also announced the same price adjustments on their diesel and gasoline products while price of kerosene, which also being carried by Chevron Philippines, will be slashed by P0.30 liter effective at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Thai-led PTT Philippines, Unioil, Petro Gazz, Total Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum and Eastern Petroleum which do not carry kerosene, will reduce the price of gasoline and diesel products by P0.50 and P0.25 per liter respectively, also at 6 a.m.
PTT Media Relation Officer Jay Julian said the slight price reduction this week reflected movements in the international oil trading.
