THE San Juan City government has started the house-to-house COVID-19 booster shots vaccination program in Bgy. San Perfecto.

Mayor Francis Zamora explained that the special vaccination was primarily intended for residents who are senior citizens and bedridden patients who are physically unable to go to the city’s main vaccination sites.

“We are doing house-to-house booster vaccination to all our qualified residents to give them this extra protection they need during this pandemic but at the convenience of their homes,” Zamora said.

He called on other senior citizens and bedridden residents or their caregivers to get them their booster shots by simply calling their barangays to reserve their slot.

All able-bodied individuals who are at home can also avail themselves should the vaccination team happen to be in their area.

The mayor also said that to further ease the citizens’ access to the booster shots, the San Juan Health Department will set up satellite vaccination areas by the end of the week in 7 key locations in the city, including 2 drive-thru vaccination areas in the City Hall and at the Makabagong San Juan Plaza.
