Silang gets new ambulances, rescue vehicles
SILANG, Cavite – Mayor Kevin Anarna was pleased to announce the arrival of eight units of brand new Toyota Grandia ambulances purchased for emergency response as part of its efforts to improve the locality’s disaster response and management capabilities on his social media page Saturday, November 12, 2022.
According to Anarna, the said ambulances are free to use for the citizens of Silangeños with driver and free fuel.
“Dahil sa wastong paggamit natin ng kaban ng bayan ay agad po nating natriple ang dami ng ating ambulansya sa loob pa lamang na ilang buwan nating panunungkulan katuwang ang Sangguniang Bayan sa pangunguna ni Vice Mayor Ted Carranza. Ito ay para mas mabilis na matugunan ang mga emergency cases sa ating bayan,” said Mayor Anarna.
Anarna reminded the residents that the ambulances are for emergency cases only. “This is not a service vehicle for those who just want a checkup.”
He added: “Also included in our purchase are a rescue vehicle and a communications vehicle that can be used by our MDRRMO (Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council), and an ambulance donated to us. Expect that, little by little, we will improve the service of our municipality.”

The mayor’s post garnered praise from commenters for improving ambulance and emergency service vehicles.
