Silang, Cavite PNP launches NPS
SILANG, Cavite – Mayor Kevin Anarna led the launching of the National Police Clearance System (NPS) for Silang police to speed up the services and easier monitoring of people with pending cases before the court.
Anarna were joined by Silang Philippine National Police (PNP) and local police chief Lieutenant Romulo Dela Rea, Silang Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) president Romeo Toledo, and P/Capt. Noel Obrador at the new municipal hall, Monday.
Each applicant for the NPS must pay P170 for the registration and verification process.
The Silang mayor promised an additional four computer units for a faster process and more applicants to be accommodated within a day.
Dela Rea, in a telephone interview, said they are planning to put up at least four satellite police clearance centers to improve the delivery of service.
“For a comprehensive, fast, convenient, and reliable system for the issuance of police clearance nationwide, applicants may register through the National Police Clearance System online system and pay the charges before proceeding to the local police station,” Dela Rea added.
