SG nat’l falls from 5th floor of hotel, critical
DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite – A Singaporean national fell from the fifth floor of a hotel after losing his balance while sitting on the concrete wall of the rented hotel room unit while talking to someone on the cellphone, Sunday, March 18, 2023 at Barangay Sampaloc 2 here.
The victim, identified as Angel Tun, 23, freelancer, and currently on vacation in the Philippines and a tenant at a hotel located at Bgy. Sampaloc 2, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, is currently being observed for treatment.
In the investigation by the police, the incident occurred at around 7:42 p.m. at the hotel where the victim was said to be sitting on a small concrete stone in front of his room and talking to someone on his cellphone and making a video call.
According to an eyewitness to the incident, who is also an occupant of the said hotel, he noticed the victim sitting on the stone surface of the concrete wall of the hotel.
The witness said he tried to call the attention of the victim as he might fall, but the Singaporean already lost his balance and fell down.
The hotel management brought the victim to the De La Salle University Medical Center, and he is now under observation.
