Sekyu nabbed for stealing live pig in Ecija
SCIENCE CITY OF MUÑOZ – A 34-year-old security guard was nabbed after he was caught in the act of stealing a live pig owned by a neighbor here on early Tuesday morning.
A report from Barangay Rizal Captain Fedelito Pascua alerted the police here, led by Lt. Col. Norman Cacho, stating that a theft incident occurred at Purok Rang-Ay at 2:00 a.m.
Cacho said responding barangay tanods arrested the suspect after the victim, a farm caretaker, sought their help when he caught the suspect stealing the animal from its pig pen.
Theft charges were being readied for inquest filing against the suspect.
