SC justice to administer VP Sara Duterte’s oath
SUPREME Court (SC) Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando will administer the oath to incoming Vice President Sara Duterte on June 19, 2022, in Davao City.
“(Hernando) is a former professor. He and his wife [have been] my good friends for over ten years,” Duterte was quoted to have said.
The young Duterte graduated law from San Sebastian College-Recoletos. She also studied at San Beda College of Law, where Hernando finished law school.
The Associate Justice taught in both law schools.
Hernando, the fourth most senior justice, was appointed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in 2018.
